Ep #30 A Meeting with a Podcast Listener

Some questions by Vjollca, one listener:
In order to become successful in the work market, should our children pass through hardships? In this world of abundance, how do the young people find the motivation to get out of the comfort zone we prepare for them?
What is missing from us as a family that our children lose the possibilities to enter successfully into the labor market? How can we lead them properly towards to work market?
The young men and women in the December protests made us aware of the special difficulties this generation faces.
Further, I share two findings from a questionnaire of 2018. In response to the question, ‘What is the greatest difficulty today in the better functioning of the family’ with two answer options (a) economic and (b) spiritual about 63% chose (b), the spiritual side.
But in the same story, with the aim of knowing what are the priorities of young people, where do they spend their time, energy and pocket money? Although it seems to be far from the topic in question, according to the anonymous answers on this same online questionnaire, girls in Albania, become sexually active at the age of 13 (the question was ‘ when do the Albanian girls lose their virginity)
The investment of Albanian parents in the family is extraordinary and as we heard from the young protesters it goes to extreme sacrifices. They create opportunities and fulfill their children’s material needs to the best of their abilities. I suggest their investing should be directed even towards their own self-education and dedication to the early detection of children’s talents and help them develop these skills by turning them into assets for the child in the labor market.
Our Program for Training for the Market Place (Albanian acronyms PTTP) assists the young people to create their “career blueprint” and try out the career choices while they are with us. It is made of six coaching sessions online or in person for seven consecutive weeks and one year consulting after.

Si mund t’I drejtojme aty ku duhet?
Me tej une ndaj dy gjetje nga nje pyetsor i 2018 ku pergjigjes se pyetjes, ‘cila eshte veshtiresia me e madhe sot ne funksionimin me mire te familjes;, kur opsionet ishin (a) ekonomike dhe (b) shpirterore, rreth 63% pergjigjen qe eshte ana shpirterore.
